On-Premises SFTP & FTP Server Licenses
The self-managed edition of SFTPGo Enterprise is the ideal choice for organizations
that need full control over their deployment — whether on-premises, in a private cloud, or across hybrid
environments.
Based on the robust open-source core,
the enterprise edition is optimized for business-critical workloads and offers enhanced features, improved
performance,
and commercial licensing.
These advanced capabilities are available with a valid license key.
You can deploy SFTPGo on Linux, Windows, in Docker containers, or within Kubernetes clusters.
Full instructions are available in our installation guide.

We offer two flexible licensing models for SFTPGo Enterprise, designed to align with your infrastructure strategy:
-
Lifetime License (Perpetual): Grants you the right to use all SFTPGo Enterprise
versions released within 12 months from your purchase date, indefinitely.
For example, if you purchase a license on August 29, 2025, you can continue using any version released
up to August 28, 2026, for as long as needed.
To maintain access to new releases, security patches, and technical support beyond the first year, an annual maintenance service is required. The maintenance fee is €250 for the Starter tier and €600 for the Premium tier. If maintenance is not renewed, your existing installation will remain functional, but you will no longer be eligible for updates or support. - Subscription License: Provides continuous access to all new releases, security updates, and technical support for as long as your subscription is active. This model offers the highest agility and includes a free trial period, giving you the opportunity to fully evaluate SFTPGo Enterprise before committing.
Both licensing models provide access to enterprise-exclusive features. Commercial support is included for 12 months with the Lifetime License and remains active throughout the duration of the Subscription License, allowing you to choose the best financial and operational fit for your organization.
