The self-managed edition of SFTPGo Enterprise is the ideal choice for organizations that need full control over their deployment — whether on-premises, in a private cloud, or across hybrid environments.
Based on the robust open-source core, the enterprise edition is optimized for business-critical workloads and offers enhanced features, improved performance, and commercial licensing. These advanced capabilities are available with a valid license key.
You can deploy SFTPGo on Linux, Windows, in Docker containers, or within Kubernetes clusters. Full instructions are available in our installation guide.

We offer two flexible licensing options for SFTPGo Enterprise:

  • Lifetime License: Purchase a perpetual license that grants you access to all SFTPGo Enterprise versions released within the 12 months following your purchase date. For example, if you buy on August 29, 2025, you can install and use any version released up to August 28, 2026, indefinitely. After this period, the license will not be valid for versions released from August 29, 2026 onward.
  • Subscription License: Enjoy uninterrupted access to all new releases and updates for as long as your subscription remains active. Subscriptions include a free trial period, allowing you to evaluate SFTPGo Enterprise before committing.

Both licensing models include access to enterprise-only features. Commercial support is provided for 12 months with the Lifetime License and for as long as the subscription remains active with the Subscription License, giving you the flexibility to choose the best option for your organization's needs.

You can optionally add the Document Editing & Collaboration add-on to any license. It enables document editing and real-time collaboration on DOCX, XLSX, PPTX and open formats directly in your browser. This feature allows users to see each other's changes simultaneously, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
To use this feature, you will need to deploy a compatible WOPI document server in your environment, such as Collabora Online, the open-source office suite based on LibreOffice. We are an official partner of Collabora and offer first-class support for integrating with it.

The add-on is priced at € 30/user/year, and will be converted to your local currency at checkout if applicable.

Note: One add-on unit is required per user. For example, for 10 users, set the quantity to 10 at checkout. If you have 100 users but purchase 10 units, 10 of your users will be able to edit and collaborate on documents.
