SFTPGo Enterprise is Now Available to Everyone

We’re glad to announce the general availability of SFTPGo Enterprise.
After a successful year powering our SaaS offerings and serving many Enterprise plan subscribers, SFTPGo Enterprise is now accessible to everyone as a self-managed solution. It’s the perfect choice for organizations seeking full control over their deployment, whether on-premises, in a private cloud, or across hybrid environments.

Built on our robust open-source core, the Enterprise edition is optimized for business-critical workloads and offers:

• Advanced enterprise features
• Improved performance
• Commercial licensing and support

Choose the model that fits your needs:

• Lifetime License: Perpetual use of all versions released within 12 months of purchase.
• Subscription License: Continuous access to all updates, with a free trial included.

Both licenses include access to Enterprise-only features and commercial support.

We offer three Enterprise tiers to support deployments of any scale.

Starter - For Small to Medium Deployments

A cost-effective solution with:

• Unlimited users and connections
• Up to 20 concurrent file transfers
• Up to 2 plugins
• Core features like file sharing, plugin support, OpenID Connect Single Sign-On, and event-driven automation

Premium - For Advanced and Flexible Deployments

Includes all Starter features, plus:

• Up to 100 concurrent file transfers
• Support for cloud storage backends (S3, Azure, GCS)
• Third-party SFTP servers as storage

Ultimate - For Mission-Critical and Large-Scale Use

• Concurrent file transfers limited only by available system resources
• Advanced security hardening
• Priority support and early access to security and critical patches

With the launch of SFTPGo Enterprise, our previous support plans (Basic, Pro, and Enterprise) will be phased out. These plans were an attempt, ultimately unsuccessful, to sustain the project while keeping SFTPGo fully open-source.
With the introduction of SFTPGo Enterprise, alongside the SaaS offerings launched last year, we're adopting a more sustainable model that enables us to continue developing and improving SFTPGo, while delivering advanced features tailored for enterprise environments.

All current Basic and Pro subscribers will be offered a seamless transition to the equivalent SFTPGo Enterprise license subscription, giving them access to new features and ongoing enhancements.

Subscribers to the Enterprise support plan have been closely involved in the evolution of SFTPGo Enterprise, and the majority are already actively using it. As such, no changes are necessary for them.

The open-source version of SFTPGo remains maintained and will continue to receive bug fixes and essential updates. However, not all enhancements introduced in the Enterprise edition will be available.
